Vase April The Classical
Inspired by Japanese ikebana, this vase glorifies the beauty of flowers by offering the ability to isolate each one. A collection of 21 interlocking glass tubes, attached together with metal rings, the April Vase adapts its form to the flowers it displays, creating a uniquely beautiful arrangement with every reworking.
Launched in 1991, Tsé & Tsé Associées is a French design company founded by two Parisian designers, Sigolène Prébois and Catherine Lévy. The two designers began creating objects for themselves in order to better savor every moment of everyday living, and he sense of wonder with which they see everyday objects shines through all their creations. Every item is unique, and it’s these imaginative differences that are Tsé & Tsé’s inimitable signature. Some years later, most of their objects have become bestsellers and museum pieces, while remaining as delightful and innovative as ever.
The Vases d’Avril are made in France. The “Classic” vase is composed of 21 tubes, including one with the Tsé & Tsé logo.

After using it with water, the metal will oxidize and a natural “white rust” will appear, giving it a desirably burnished patina. Clean the tubes with a bottlebrush – and a little white vinegar to remove any limestone deposits – or remove the tubes from the metal structure and pop them (not the metal) in the dishwasher. Just in case, the April Vase comes with a handy spare glass tube!
